Web Server Maintenance
At Binary Developers we take your site security very seriously. That’s why we offer tailored server maintenance contracts alongside our general support.
This will keep you up-to-date with the latest server software changes, patches and security upgrades. It helps protect you and your customers from security breaches and attacks. It also helps your site run as fast and smooth as possible.
If your server ever requires rebuilding or re-configuring we’ll carry it out at no extra cost on top of your maintenance contract.
Do You need a Web Maintenance Contract?
Do you have dedicated or co-located hosting? If so, the responsibility to update and protect your files and software essentially falls on you. If you don’t have a dedicated IT team, or find that your resources are directed elsewhere, we can perform the maintenance on your behalf.
We will:
- Update and upgrade all software with the latest service packs and patches
- Reboot and test the server periodically to keep your site running smoothly
- Add any new security software as required
- Make sure your information is backed up and protected
- Run checks for unusual behaviour or activity
- Act on any alerts immediately
Website Maintenance – Single Update
The Single Update is designed to allow you to make one-off changes to your website as and when required, without further commitment.
Prior to making any website maintenance changes, Binary Developers will provide you with a fixed price quotation so you know exactly how much the update will cost before your start.
A single one-off update can consisting of any of the following;
- Modification and addition of textural content
- Image manipulation, addition or replacement
- Shopping cart product updates
- Update announcements, articles, Press Releases
- Removing/Adding pages of the same design
- PDF creation and uploading
Website Maintenance Agreements
Our Website Maintenance Agreements vary in both standards of service and costs.
Our standards of service range from website maintenance tasks being completed within 72 hours to website maintenance updates within 4 hours.
Website Maintenance Agreements start at just £50 pcm and rise depending on the number of pages within your website and the required turnaround timescale for website maintenance tasks.
All of our website maintenance agreements are based on making unlimited changes to your website throughout the period of the contract, typically in the following categories;
- Modification and addition of textural content
- Image manipulation, addition or replacement
- Newsletter & email list maintenance
- Shopping cart product updates
- Update announcements, articles, Press Releases
- Adding/removing pages
- PDF creation and uploading
The Website Maintenance Agreement is not designed as a redesign service. It is for the maintenance of core content, not structure of the website. Should design and/or layout changes be required during the contractual period, Binary Developers will provide a preferential rate quotation for all such work.
